US and casino banking

January 28th, 2007

This month major changes happened in the US relating to casino banking. The Feds have put a stop to most banking methods which fund online casinos. This has hurt the casinos and poker rooms as per having ways to players to add credits to there casino accounts. It is still possible but not near as easy. Some are allowing money orders, click2pay, while others your credit cards and debit card will process with no issues.

Web Wallets for Online Casinos

November 4th, 2006

Most online casinos accept a large variety of different web wallets to purchase casino credits. In late Oct the US government has passed a bill to try and stop the processing of payments to casinos on the internet which is suppose to take effect 270 days after the bill was passed. Many believe it will be nearly impossible to stop web wallets. I guess time will tell on this one. The bill did not make it illegal to gamble online.
